Here in New Brunswick, the month of May blossomed with warm sunny days. We were able to open our twenty-first floor outside patio for residents to enjoy which offers a great view & warm sunshine.
On May 13th, we hosted our first happy hour; serving bubble iced teas with flavors like Thai, taro, mango & peach. Residents lingered & mingled, enjoying the outdoors and the bubble teas were quite the hit!
Ice cream floats were prepared for our second happy hour event. We provided scoops of vanilla ice cream dropped into glasses of cold bubbly soda, topped with a cherry.
It was a day to be outside. Conversations were just as bubbly, as it was clear new friendships were being forged. We ended the month of May with a time for residents to do their own grilling, making use of the two large gas grills.
Our June calendar incudes a live DJ event, a blind drink tasting & we will be serving up iced coffee with 3” alphabet cookies that tie into a group story creation.
